The mosque has four symmetrical porches decorated with artistic tilework. Jameh Mosque was a religious school in the past and the chambers were residential quarters for theology students. Another historic mosque in Zanjan, also belonging to Qajar era, is Khanoom Mosque. Also, a majestic remnant of Qajar era, the mosque is famous for its short and solid minarets covered with marvelous tilework. Zanjan’s former match factory is another tourist attraction you can visit in the city. The factory is the site of Zanjan’s Museum of Industry.
